Powerful Event Photography
What is your celebration?
In my experience, I’ve seen people invest a lot of time preparing to make their event perfect. Ironically, on the day of celebrations, there seems little time for the close family members to really enjoy the event! I have found that professional event photography gives back the moments spent ensuring others were enjoying themselves. It’s just wonderful to watch my clients smile (and sometimes cry) as they look through the event they experienced first hand.
I create professional engaging event photography.
There are key ingredients that I use as I photograph celebrations to get best results. One component is keeping calm during stressful moments, of which there have been a number of over the years. The other is a keen observation of the guests engaging with each other and enjoying themselves! It’s capturing the spark of connection.
My clients choose me for my emotive photography. I have a reportage style and I use formality when needed. I also will connect with guests when I see a photo opportunity. I am always looking for photo opportunities.
What to expect
It’s very important to communicate the line up of your event and the style of shots you are looking for.
Family portraits – I often use the initial 30 minutes to an hour before your guest arrive as an opportunity to take close family member’s portrait shots. It can be a mad rush but I help direct the shots in a chosen location of the venue. I warn that this can be a bit stressful, but always worth it!
Once I have the line up I can ensure I capture what you want. If you’ve prepared speeches, performances or surprises, let me know. You’ll want those story moments captured.
